Protesting can change the World

What do you think of when you imagine a protester??
When I see someone Protesting, I know it’s the right thing to do, cause I know they’re tryna change the world. When I imagine someone Protesting, I think that them holding a sign and police officers tryna get rid of them, is like risking some bits of them, to save the world instead of themselves.

What is a Protest??
A protest is like a time to express your thoughts with the world, about something to change. Protesting is like Marching, having a Strike day, and more. A March is like the definition of Hikoi, What do you do?: Marching is walking around town holding signs up so people can read it and know what is happening, so they can join in, and help change the world. What is a Strike?: A Strike is when all people in their country take a day off work or school. Heading point: Protesting is to help change the world about serious situations happening around the world.

What causes a Protest??
When something serious happens, people want to change it so the world could be a better place, like earlier in the week*s* people were protesting to help change the world about police (and others) to treat people the same way!, Protesting is something that people usually do in certain countries like, New Zealand *here*. Having people Protest around the world is the right thing to do. Protesting can help change the world, and make it a better place.

Do Protests usually work??
A Protest is something that people do to change the world, sometimes people need to do it for weeks to try and get people, and officers to listen, and make it right. In my guess, some Protests work, and some don’t work, like in the protests now, people still are in town, holding up signs, so people can treat others the same, even if they have different coloured skin. For example Kate sheppard petition worked and women got to vote. However the maori at Parihaka tried to protest and the settlers still took their land.

In Conclusion, people protest when they want to make a change. So Protests do work if you try your best.
