Addition and Subtraction - Crime Scene (CSI T1)

WALT: ....

This is another Crime scene task that my class participated in about 2 weeks ago, I didn't join the meet and also didn't manage to get the work done on time, but I still got it done. Instead of Multiplication and Division, we did Addition and Subtraction, it was way more easier for me to figure out especially because I did it on my own, without any help like the other CSI task. Me and my class really enjoy doing tasks like this, especially these Crime Scene tasks.

Yes!! this was the first CSI task we had to complete before Multiplication and Division.

Multiplication and Division - Crime Scene (CSI)

 WALT: ....

Today we used our math detective skills, for each slide we had to figure out a math equation and find out the answer to get to the clue, and when we add up all the clues we will know who the suspect is. Go check out my classmates blogs to see their answers. (We all basically have the same answer though).
The Suspect was....
The Hair Dresser (AKA) MaRiE !!

The country of tonga and its culture

Malo e lelei and greetings to you all ! It's Tongan Language week !!. Today I'll be writing a brief explanation of  the friendly islands of  Tonga. Enjoy !

What is Tonga most known for ?

Tonga is the only Monarchy (Form of Government) in the pacific, and is the only country that has never completely lost its indigenous governance.

Did you know Tonga has up to 170 islands and 36 are inhabited, out of all of those islands Tongatapu is the biggest, followed by ‘Eua, Niuatoputapu, Niuafo’ou, Kao and Pangaimotu. Tongatapu is the main island of  Tonga, in 2016 Tonga had the population of 100,651 and 70% resided on the main island, Tongatapu. Right now, 2021, the population of tonga is 107,098.

Tongas largest and capital city is Nuku’alofa it is located on the north-coast of the island of  Tongatapu. In the northwest of the capital, landmarks the Royal Palace (home of the Tongan Royal Family).

Overall  Tonga is a beautiful place to go to (after lockdown). Hopefully my brief explanation writing has left you with some interesting facts rounded up in your head.  Malo ‘aupito !

Reading - Astrobiology Finding Extraterrestrial life

WALT: Show an increasing understanding of ideas within, across, and beyond texts.

Today I worked on this task about Astrobiologists, What they do, and What they have yet discovered. On slide 5 is a Venn Diagram of Antarctica and Mars, don't forget to check that out! . Below this text is an advert that we had to create, we had to persuade people on wanting to live on a planet other than Earth.

How would you react if something 'weird looking' came to earth ?

Here's a Link to an Astrobiologist Article.

(I'm sorry if you've been persuaded, but also happy and proud of myself for persuading you. Don't move to Jupiter !)
